BaldwinLaw LLC is a unique combination of trial lawyers. Each brings a tradition of excellence and commitment to the team. Excellence and commitment in litigation require an understanding that a client’s best interests are not necessarily served by a courtroom showdown. But, if trial is necessary, a client of BaldwinLaw LLC has the dedicated focus of the best available talent.

Rig Baldwin has litigated complex cases in State and federal courts in Maryland, as well as other jurisdictions, for over thirty-five years. As a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and as a Best Lawyers designation as Lawyer of The Year for the Baltimore/D.C. region, he has earned peer recognition as a skilled trial lawyer.

Judge Benson Everett Legg (Ret.) has been involved in more trials than any practicing attorney. After sixteen years in the litigation department of Venable LLP, he was appointed to the bench of the United States District Court for Maryland in 1991 and served as the Chief Judge of the Court from 2003 to 2010. During his tenure, Judge Legg was involved in hundreds of trials, ranging from complex civil litigation to high profile criminal cases. Through his unique perspective in the court room, he has acquired an understanding of case evaluation, litigation strategy, and effective advocacy that exceeds most trial lawyers.

Rig Baldwin V served as an intern for one of the federal court’s most respected jurists. After law school, he was an associate at one of Maryland’s premier litigation firms. His diverse life experiences and specialized skills provide clients with unique insight, especially the evaluation of construction disputes and firearms regulation issues.
